我在球身上分别雕刻了两种内容，分别是汉代的七夕画像石和旧藏天象列次分野之图。古人关于牛郎星和织女星的向往，甚至说是对宇宙的好奇，一直以来都无法与观测和想象分离。这两种内容，其实就是这两者的体现。而为什么选用球体，是来自于我的一个小小想象：如果说宇宙于现今的我们而言无法完全理解，那是否也意味着它可以发生任何我们无法预想的事情。就像一张纸，它的两个端点相隔最远，但只要将这张纸弯折，这两个端点就会相交。宇宙会不会在某一处发生交叠？而球体似乎是最好的体现：我将画像石，分野图分别雕刻在上下两个半球上。当半球体被放置在纸面上时，形成的蓝晒图像依旧是个圆形，它看似圆满，但事实上却缺少了另一半。只有当两个半球体合二为一时才会显示出完整的文字/图像，此时他们才是真正的“相会”。
